From Thomas’s trip to India, he had the opportunity to participate in a cultural exchange program. Cultural Impact on our Personal Lives:

When we travel to another country, we often come face to face with new cultures. We may be excited by the differences, but at the same time, we can feel a bit uncomfortable. Even so, it’s important to remember that we all have our own cultures, and when we travel, we need to be respectful of the customs and traditions of others. One way to respect another culture is to participate in their activities and learn about their way of life. This can help to learn about people and gain a deeper understanding of their culture. The Good and Bad of Exchange Programs:

I had the privilege of participating in a cultural exchange program wherein I learned so much about the culture and the people.  However, I also faced some challenges during my time in India. The biggest challenge was the language barrier. I don’t speak Hindi, so it wasn’t easy to communicate with the people I met. I also found it challenging to adjust to the food and the climate. Overall, it was a great experience, but I faced some challenges along the way.
